A healthy lifestyle is one which helps to keep and improve your health and well-being. There are many different things you can do to live a healthy lifestyle, such as eating healthy, being physically active, maintaining a healthy weight and managing your stress.
A healthy lifestyle has both short and long term health benefits. Long term, eating a balanced diet, doing regular exercises and maintaining a healthy weight can add years to your life and reduce the risk of certain diseases including cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and obesity.
Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.
What you can do every single day to stay healthy
- Drink clean water (most important in a man’s life)
- Enjoy meals (of course)
- Take fresh air (learn to inhale-exhale)
- Stay active (important)
- Eat vegetables (can’t go around it)
- Catch enough sleep (important for your body!)
